Boss Baby Can’t Stay Up Until Midnight Either — Netflix’s New Year’s Eve Countdowns For Kids Are Back!

According to new research from Netflix, "77 percent of US parents actually prefer to stay in than go out for the biggest bash of the year" — and you'd best believe we are part of that camp.

With this in mind, Netflix's New Year's Eve countdowns for kids are back, better than ever, and still here to help you get the kids into bed before 12 a.m., feeling like they've stayed up late enough for the real New Year's. Starting on Dec. 26, countdowns featuring characters from 14 of your kids' favorite Netflix shows will be up on the streaming service and ready to ring in 2019 with you and your kids — whenever you damn well please.

After the kids are asleep, you can sip your glass of bubbly in peace and actually count down to midnight without overtired kids milling about. Or, you could sip that bubbly at 9 p.m., get into bed, and sleep until 2019 rings itself in . . . we won't tell (and will be right there with you).
