This Is the Roller Coaster of Emotions You Ride the Moment You Find Out You're Pregnant

There are many important days in a person's life, like landing your dream job, buying a house, and meeting your best friend. However, nothing shakes up your life quite like finding out you're pregnant does. When you first find out that you have a little baby growing inside of you and that you'll soon be responsible for said baby, the brain goes into overdrive with an array of emotions, from thrilled to scared to even a little sad (no more cocktails!). After all, babies change everything, and it's totally natural to feel a million different things within the span of a few minutes. Here are 14 thoughts you probably had (or will have!) in the moments after you found out you were pregnant.

"I was right!"

All those little belly twinges, slight signs of queasiness (or full-on morning sickness), and other crazy body changes all meant one thing: pregnant! You were right all along.

"It's time to celebrate."

Whether you do a brief little jig or celebrate with a full-on dance party, you're quickly elated. After all, you get to grow your family.

"Wait, is this actually happening?!"

Once you've celebrated, it slowly dawns on you how much your life is going to change.

"There's so much to do. I already feel overwhelmed!"

That morning sickness you were feeling earlier? Yeah, that doesn't even compare to the absolute overwhelming feeling that life as you know it has changed forever. If you're a first-time mom, you have no idea what you're doing, and that's a pretty wild feeling.

"How will I get everything done in time for the baby?"

Suddenly, 40 weeks doesn't seem like a whole lot of time to get ready for that little bundle of joy. How soon is too soon to start planning the nursery?

"How am I going to tell my partner?"

Should you do it in a big, destined-to-go-viral video, or is it better to slip it casually into a conversation? This is a big decision.

"I'm so excited!"

You're back to being excited again. Time for another belly dance.

"I want to tell everyone!"

Even though many opt to keep this news quiet until they've reached the second trimester, it's hard to not want to share the news with the world. Look at me, everyone, I'm having a baby!

"I'm definitely not ready for this."

You remember that you're going to have to buy so many things and give up a lot of things and that your life is about to be consumed by diapers and bottles. Get ready!

"Do I have a belly yet?"

Even though you found out you're pregnant a couple of minutes ago, that's not going to stop you from checking out your belly for any signs of a bump. Bonus points for the moms who stick out their tummies to preview their bellies.

"I can eat whatever I want!"

OK, you know you gotta keep it healthy for the most part, but touching your belly will remind you that you'll get to indulge in some treats. After all, what pregnant woman hasn't had a massive craving for ice cream?

"But I can't have wine anymore!"

Sadly, even though you'll get to have some wonderful treats, Monday wine night with The Bachelor is going to take a practically year-long pause. It was fun while it lasted.

"I'm actually going to be someone's mom."

But of course, even through all the momentary dread and excitement, you remember that you're going to be that little person's mommy. You get to be the parent now, which means it's time to make some decisions.

"I've got this."

Finally, you know you're going to be a killer mama, and you've got this. You're so ready for all that pregnancy has to offer and even more eager to meet that little baby in a few short months.
