I'm Cackling at This Kid Who Hijacked a Talent Show to Sing Darth Vader's Theme Song

A young boy is going viral for bringing a surprising Star Wars-approved twist to his talent show performance, and it's sure to plant a smile on your face — regardless of whether you're a Jedi or a Sith. In video footage captured one year ago and recently shared on Twitter by a relative, the adorable tot is seen standing on stage in between his big sister and cousin. The trio was originally meant to sing their own rendition of "Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star," but the budding internet star in the middle took matters into his own hands when he hijacked the microphone to belt out Darth Vader's theme song, "The Imperial March."

While he nailed every single repeated "dun dun dun" with exquisite precision, his sister aimlessly looks around, likely thinking to herself, "Oh jeez, not this again. How many times do I have to hear his sing this?" At one point, she even appears to try stepping in front of her younger sibling halfway through his rendition, but he gives her a light nudge, as if to say, "Not yet, sis — this is my time to shine."

As soon as the boy's cousin, Erin Gibson, shared the video on social media, it went bonkers viral, garnering more than 8 million views and 600,000 likes in just a few days. It even caught the attention of Luke Skywalker actor Mark Hamill, who shared the video on Twitter and wrote, "The Dark Side is strong in him!" Ahead, watch the hysterical clip and read through the funny Twitter reactions. Mark my words, folks: This kid is goin' places.
