Oriental Trading Is Starting to Sell Halloween Decorations, and I Feel Completely OK With This

As parents, we know there's a strong case to make for living in the moment and being present for your family, but there's no denying that planning, whether that be for a vacation, birthday, or holiday, is just as rewarding. Is there no way to be present while simultaneously — and joyously — thinking ahead to our favorite times of the year?

We think there is. We're certainly enjoying our time outside in the sunshine with our kids, but we just learned that Oriental Trading has released some of its Halloween assortment, and well, it's given us reason to come inside for a bit to do a little Fall planning.

We're not going to put away the outdoor water table and start hanging cobwebs, but that doesn't mean we can't daydream about an epic unicorn skeleton for our front yard!
