A Photographer Took Pictures of 4 Generations of a Family, and the Results Are Absolutely Stunning

Kelsei Frazier, a photographer from Pace, FL, recently did a truly unforgettable photo shoot that included four generations of family members, and it will instantly strike a cord with anyone who has lost a loved one.

"My friend Brittney Butler — the third generation daughter in the picture — reached out to me because both of her grandfathers passed away within a couple years of each other," Kelsei told POPSUGAR. "She said when she realized that her grandmother is all she truly has left, it hit her like a ton of bricks."

"She said when she realized that her grandmother is all she truly has left, it hit her like a ton of bricks."

Eager to have long-lasting memories with her living relatives, Brittney and Kelsei settled on the perfect background, a local farm chock-full of sunflowers. "She wishes she had taken professional pictures, or thought of it, while her other grandparents were alive. As we get older, we see the importance of life a little differently," explained Kelsei. "We want these memories to share with our kids, we want to be able to tell them stories about them and show them where they came from, who they might look like."

Because Kelsei wasn't very close with some of her relatives who have passed on, doing the photo shoot was especially sentimental for her. "As someone who has lost her grandparents — who didn't grow up close to them — this is something that everyone dreams of having," said Kelsei. "The closeness of a family, the memories, the generations. It was an awesome thing to photograph!"
