While there are plenty of classic children's books for your kids to love reading throughout their childhoods, Insight Editions wants to bring your love of '80s movies and their fandoms to your kids' lives a little early with the help of their new board books. In 2020, the company is releasing six books in a series called PlayPop, which bonds together popular movies like E.T. and Back to the Future with playful kids' books that teach key developmental concepts.

The first two of the series to become available are the E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial-themed E.T.'s First Words, which teaches kids common words, and the Ghostbusters-themed 1 to 10 Slimer's Loose Again, which teaches kids the numbers one through 10. In the Summer we can expect to see Back to the Future- and Labyrinth-themed PlayPop books, and in the Fall, a board book based on The Dark Crystal as well as a second Ghostbusters title.

Keep reading to purchase the first titles and to get a sneak peek inside the colorful pages of both.
