Cynthia Nixon is the model of a mother in a blended family! The actress, politician, and activist has two sons, Samuel (Seph) Joseph Mozes and Charles Ezekiel Mozes, with her ex Danny Mozes. In 2011, Nixon and then-fiancée (now wife) Christine Marinoni welcomed their son, Max Ellington Nixon-Marinoni, adding to their beautiful blended family. Nixon has mostly kept her older sons out of the spotlight and off of social media, but Max, now 9 years old, makes frequent appearances on her Instagram with a big smile and an even bigger personality!

Samuel (Seph) Joseph Mozes
Samuel Mozes, born in November 1996, is the elder son of Nixon and her ex Danny Mozes. Apparently, he goes by the nickname Seph. Samuel graduated from the University of Chicago in 2018.
That same year, his mother revealed in an Instagram post that Samuel had come out as transgender. "I'm so proud of my son Samuel Joseph Mozes (called Seph) who graduated college this month. I salute him and everyone else marking today's #TransDayofAction. #TDOA," Nixon captioned the photo of them together.
Charles Ezekiel Mozes
Charles Mozes, born Dec. 16, 2002, is the younger son of Nixon and Mozes. While Nixon was pregnant with Charles, she was right in the middle of filming Sex and the City's fourth season. Instead of trying to work around the pregnancy or hide it, the show wrote it into Nixon's plot line for the year.
Max Ellington Nixon-Marinoni
Max Nixon-Marinoni was born on Feb. 7, 2011. He is the son of Nixon and her wife, Christine Marinoni. Marinoni gave birth to Max, and in a 2019 Instagram post, Nixon appeared to reveal the identity of Max's father: she captioned a photo of Max in a partially finished Halloween costume with "When your dad's a costumer and you always wanted to be Pennywise..."
The costumer in question is in the photo with Max, working on his costume — he's Michael Growler, a costume designer who worked with Nixon on the play Rabbit Hole and on the Sex and the City films. On Father's Day in 2018, she shared a picture of her, Max, and Marinoni, with Growler and his husband, William Bowers, captioned "To all of the amazing dads in our children's lives: Happy #FathersDay!"
