Tony Hawk and His Kids Could Easily Form an Olympic Team With Their Amount of Talent

Tony Hawk has achieved a lot of remarkable things in his life, from being a professional skateboarder to creating his own video-game series, Tony Hawk's Pro Skater, to even starting his own skateboard company. Yet perhaps his biggest accomplishment of all is being a dad to his four kids, Riley, Spencer, Keegan, and Kadence. While the Hawk children haven't had the most conventional upbringing — they have three different moms between them — their dad has always been a supportive character in their lives. Plus, they've been able to learn how to skateboard from the legend himself, Birdman. At the end of the day, Hawk told Vogue, "I hope I've taught them the value of perseverance, of believing in yourself, and creating your own path in life." There's no doubt about that. Get to know Riley, Spencer, Keegan, and Kadence ahead!

Riley Hawk

Born on Dec. 6, 1992, Riley Hawk is Hawk's eldest son, whom he shares with high-school sweetheart and ex-wife Cindy Dunbar. Taking after his pops, Riley got into skateboarding at an early age and went pro in December 2013 with Baker Skateboards. Talking with GQ magazine in 2017, Tony opened up about the nepotism Riley was facing as being "Tony Hawk's son." "It would have been way easier for him to go in a different direction, but everyone eventually saw that he has this super creative and out-of-the-box way of skating," he explained. "I remember the first time he asked for advice on a trick that he was learning, and it was a trick I couldn't do. I was like, 'I'm really flattered you asked me this, but you're on your own.'" Riley is also a musician and makes up one third of the punk band WARISH.

Spencer Hawk

Spencer Hawk came into the world on March 26, 1999. His mom is Hawk's second ex-wife, Erin Lee, and to them he's known as Spencer, but to his fans he's known as electronic pop producer Gupi. Discovered by Charli XCX (we know, so cool!), Gupi signed onto Dog Show Records and is currently a student at the Berklee College of Music, according to Red Bull. In an interview with the energy drink brand, Gupi said he's tried very hard to pull his name and image as far away from his father's as possible — not in a malicious way, but because he wants to make it on his own accord.

"I want people to know me for me and not as Tony Hawk's son because that's just been my whole life and I try to not let it drive me as crazy as it does, because I know where other people are coming from. But it does get to me a little bit," he revealed. His music can be streamed on Spotify and Sound Cloud.

Keegan Hawk

Keegan Hawk was born on July 18, 2001, and is the second youngest of the Hawk children. The 52-year-old skateboarder shares Keegan with his second ex-wife, Erin Lee. It seems as though Hawk has another skateboard prodigy in the family. He's shared a few clips of Keegan trying to master tricks like the infamous 360 flip via social media, joking he now understands what his parents went through watching him perform dangerous stunts as a kid. While appearing on the Misfits Podcast, Keegan talked about his love for the sport. He labeled it as a serious relationship he's been in for over 10 years, but not something he's doing professionally . . . at least not yet.

Kadence Clover Hawk

Born on June 20, 2008, Kadence Clover Hawk is the professional skateboarder's youngest child and only daughter, whom he shares with ex-wife Lhotse Merriam. In an interview with The Sydney Morning Herald, Hawk described his 12-year-old daughter as determined, funny, sarcastic, and someone who "treats everyone equally" — a trait Hawk "likes to think [he] bestowed on her." According to a happy birthday post on Instagram, Kadence, or "Kady," is a bit of a thespian, but she also enjoys spending time with dad at the skate park.
