Spring 2015 Is Further Proof of Altuzarra's Star Power
We don't think we've ever seen gingham look quite as sexy as it did on Altuzarra's Spring '15 runway. That was our first thought when the designer's new lineup hit the catwalk — a parade of slim, sharply cut pencil skirts with front slits, finished this time in peppy blue checks and stripes and topped with blazers and button-downs unbuttoned to there. Altuzarra gives a master class in elevated sex appeal that's confident but never in your face. It's the kind you can get away with at the office — but that looks even better after hours.
And, speaking of after hours, the latter half of the runway brought lattice-cut leather in both skirts and dresses. They were followed by romantic ruffled dresses and, finally, a selection of sultry black suiting and sheer evening looks that we could easily see on Rihanna, who took a spot in the front row.
