New York City is a completely different place during the Summer. As the chilly Winter temperatures dissipate, the city is reinvigorated with life — oh, and with sweltering heat that's only magnified by the densely populated nature of the streets. Many cope with the desert-like warmth by opting for as little clothing as possible (usually tank tops, shorts, or dresses), but Ashley Olsen has a different survival method hidden up her oversize sleeves, and it's actually pretty genius.

The designer was spotted wearing quite the breezy ensemble, pairing a white balloon-like blouse with black wide-leg trousers and finishing the look with a simple pair of black sandals by The Row (which sister Mary-Kate was also seen wearing). We seriously can't help but obsess over her parachute-esque top, which she styled by rolling the sleeves, tucking into the front of her pants, and allowing the back to billow out from behind.

The oversize silhouette of her outfit is just so Ashley Olsen, and we feel like this kind of shirt is probably about 10 times more comfortable than any constricting tube top for the Summer. If you're equally as convinced to hop on the anti-tank top bandwagon this season, read on to get a closer look at how Ashley styled her look, and then shop similar breezy shirt options.
