A Pair of Heels Just Took Dakota Fanning's Look to a Whole New Level

When it comes to dressing for the weekend, we tend toward slouchier silhouettes and comfier fabrics. Dakota Fanning seems to agree. The actress hit the streets of New York City this week in a look that was perfectly weekend-ready, save for one thing: her shoes. Dakota opted for a pair of slouchy Current/Elliott The Fling jeans, which she double cuffed, and a white, loose-fitting high-low top. Her accessories included a tan leather top-handle bag and matching sunglasses, and whereas we might cap off such a comfortable look with ballerina flats or smoking slippers, the stylish star elevated her ensemble with glittery, two-toned peep-toe heels. We love how she took an otherwise supercasual day look and gave it some seriously unexpected sparkle.
We also admire that she went with the two-toned version of this pump. A full-on glitter shoe would have been overkill, and this bright yellow (though, any color would have worked here) popped while still playing nicely next to her loose denim.
