We partnered with DSW on this post to highlight the Gen Art Fresh Faces designers from this year's NYFW.
For those already entrenched in the fashion community, the return of Gen Art's Fresh Faces in Fashion (it went on hiatus in September 2012) was reason enough to get excited for the September shows. Responsible for having helped advance the careers of Zac Posen, Rebecca Taylor, and Rodarte, this nonprofit has always had a significant foothold in Fashion Week, and this year was no different.
On Wednesday night, designers Ada + Nik, Daniel Silverstain, and House of Cannon presented their collections, and we've got all the best looks in the gallery. One thing to note, though — it seems the 90's trend isn't going anywhere, because all of the models from the runway paired their looks with nostalgia-infused favorites like Teva wedges, Chuck Taylors and combat boots.
