Recently, on a trip to San Francisco with a friend, I wanted to purchase a jade bangle. Trouble is, my hands were clammy from that Bay Area fog. Not a problem! The saleswoman at China Station had the quickest, easiest, and cheapest solution — and the answer is already in your house.
Got a plastic bag? Good. Slip it over your hand (I know, we were puzzled for a moment too — go with it). Slide the bangle around the bag and up your arm. No matter how hot and sticky your palm or how hot the day, if the bangle is normally your correct size, it should slip on with ease. Simple, right? Works every time . . . Just remember to take the bag off before leaving the house!
