Toward the end of the week, we often find ourselves in a bit of a pickle: with happy hour plans postwork, mornings are consumed with searching for an outfit that'll take us from the office to out on the town — flawlessly and preferably without having to lug around extra layers. Thankfully, though, Jennifer Lawrence has just come through with some fashion inspiration. Rocking a white tank dress, lace-up black sandals, and layers of necklaces, the star showed us that sometimes keeping it simple is the perfect way to go.
And while we'll probably opt not to carry around her main accessory, a pair of chopsticks that she held in her mouth as teeth (oh, that J Law. . . ), we're more than ready to play copycat with the rest of her look. Read on to see it in full, then shop some similar pieces for yourself.
Jennifer Lawrence wore a simple white dress while out in NYC, which she accessorized with some black, lace-up heels and layers of necklaces.
The star also carried a black and cream Kenneth Cole bucket bag ($168) on her shoulder. While this look is somewhat simple, it would be the perfect outfit to take from day to night.
We're loving the little pendants on Jennifer's necklaces! They add a small pop of color and a bit of flair.
