The Oscars are all about extravagance, but when we saw Julianne Moore arrive in this strapless Chanel dress, we knew we were seeing something extraspecial. The white organza dress was custom-made by designer Karl Lagerfeld and embroidered with 80,000 hand-painted sequins and flowers made of ivory, beige and black organza, tulle, and sequins. Overall, the dress required 987 hours of work and 27 people to complete — talk about a showstopper. But do you love Julianne's embellished white dress? Let us know if it was worth the work!
