When news broke that Lauren Conrad tied the knot this weekend, our first thought was: what did the dress look like?! Given the blogger and designer's penchant for romantic, girlie pieces, we had our own ideas of what she might wear down the aisle. But, now we have our first real look at the gown via designers' Mark Badgley and James Mischka's sketch. The duo behind Badgley Mischka created a custom look for the bride, which featured a delicate lace back and a touch of Old Hollywood. From the designers' mood board, we get a sense of all the inspiration that went into the dress. True to Lauren's style, they looked to classic style icons, like Grace Kelly, and beautifully, feminine lace.

Of the look, Mark Badgley and James Mischka said, "Lauren embodies a young, modern, and sophisticated style that is the type of women we love too design for. She wanted a simple and classic yet glamorous gown which paired perfectly with the Old Hollywood element we love to put in each of our designs."
