New York Fashion Week started — and, truthfully, ended — with a twirl. On Feb. 6, size-inclusive shopping destination 11 Honoré hosted its first-ever runway show, with Laverne Cox leading the charge. Wearing a burgundy gown by Zac Posen, the actress spun down the runway while Robyn's "Honey" thumped in the background. The exuberant runway moment is already being considered a highlight of the season and stood out in an industry that often faces criticism for taking itself too seriously.
If the burgundy gown seems familiar, it's because Laverne isn't the first star to twirl in all of its tulle glory. Miley Cyrus wore the same design during her performance with Elton John at the 2018 Grammy Awards. The gown's designer was also in attendance at the award show, and Miley and Zac posed for several photos together backstage. Ahead, revel in the joyous Fashion Week moment and see pictures of the gown's previous appearance at the Grammys.
