Calling It: Lizzo's VMAs Red Carpet Strut Is the New Bend and Snap
Lately, my Monday nights have been dedicated to the Blake and Demi drama on Bachelor in Paradise, but tonight, I'm switching things up in favor of the fun fashion hitting the 2019 MTV VMAs. The night has started out strong with Taylor Swift in a vibrant Versace number, but it was Lizzo who really turned up the heat on the red carpet, wearing a custom Moschino by Jeremy Scott red strapless sequin gown with silver "Siren" lettering and a red-and-silver metallic feather boa to match. Honey!
But because you can't expect Lizzo to simply saunter down a red carpet sans theatrics, the "Good as Hell", "Juice," and "Truth Hurts" singer delighted fans with a playful strut-shimmy-shake and air-kiss sequence that could have only have been made more incredible with yet another heroic flute solo. And I'm calling it right now: this is the new bend and snap.
Ahead, witness Lizzo's energetic red carpet walk from every angle. We can't wait to see what the rest of the night has in store.
