Michelle Obama's Self-Portrait Dress Will Make You Want to Raise the Roof Too

Perhaps first known for its ultrafeminine "naked dresses," Self-Portrait has since emerged as a contemporary British label with an arsenal of dresses for every occasion, including something for the first lady. Michelle Obama stepped out in New York for the United Nations General Assembly at Broadway's Jacobs Theater Monday wearing a mixed-media floral and mesh sheath dress. The look, as it turns out, is a custom piece from Self-Portrait designer Han Chong. The sheath is right on par with Michelle's sophisticated but always contemporary style, with elements of polish and a stylish edge. Suffice it to say, if you weren't already a fan of Self-Portrait, a look at Michelle's dress might just send you shopping.
