We all have our favorite designers, but that doesn't mean we're not constantly searching for fresh brands to follow. As we begin to hear about rising new talent in the industry, it's our duty to let you know right away. That way, you can lust after (and later shop) their creations.
Thanks to the CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund Awards, we're already acquainted with some of the need-to-know designers of the year, but we've also compiled a few others every girl should keep her eyes on. 1 Martina Spetlova
After graduating with a background in the sciences, Martina started her own label in 2011, and her collections are focused on the experimentation of colors and textiles. The products in her line are handwoven by female artisans in the Netherlands, and all leathers are carefully sourced.

2 Theo
Theo Dekan and Oksana Denis founded the Ukrainian-based womenswear brand in 2014. The concept for the brand focuses on three main areas: ironic (feminine ironically plus bright colors), straight (concise, based on the male silhouette with elements of deconstruction), and eccentric (intriguing and bold images for the evening).

3 Lily Ashwell
The clothing line launched in 2012 with a small collection of vintage-inspired dresses and workwear. All the pieces are direct to consumer, meaning they are sold directly from the brand to shoppers, and Lily's personal vintage finds continue to inspire her own designs.

4 Adam Selman
He got his start as a costume designer for stars like Michael Jackson, Lady Gaga, and Britney Spears and since then has shown six collections at NYFW. You may know him as the guy behind Rihanna's infamous sheer dress at the 2014 CFDA Awards. He began working with Rihanna in 2011, and since then he has created over 100 custom looks for the star. Most recently, he was a 2016 CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund Finalist.
5 Loup
Loup, founded in 2009, is based off designer Danielle Ribner's inspirations from Paris to New York. Inspired by Parisian art, fashion, and film icons, she creates classic cuts and fuses vintage details with more modern designs. The word "loup" is the French word for "wolf," and the brand is a favorite of stars like Blake Lively.

6 Verdad
The mastermind behind the brand is fashion designer Louis Verdad, who is merging youthful tailoring and urban sophistication in his designs. Verdad focuses on quality, comfort, and "modern panache," with the collection set to launch in stores Spring '17, so stay tuned.
7 Genuine People
As the name suggests, the brand lives by a bold, creative ethos. The clothes are a mix of understated feminine silhouettes and clean lines with sharp sophistication.

8 Brock Collection
The designers behind Brock Collection, Laura Vassar Brock and Kristopher Brock, are the winners of the 2016 CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund award. The husband-and-wife duo first launched their womenswear line in 2013, with a focus on elegant craftsmanship, and stars like Emma Stone and Naomi Watts have worn their designs.
9 William Drummond
After designing for names like Tom Ford, Thakoon, and Marchesa, William Drummond, a British designer, debuted his own Autumn/Winter 2016 collection. "The inspiration behind the collection was that of delving in to a glamorous grandmother's armoire and discovering a world of dusty appliqué, striking silhouettes and heavy cut fabrics marred with captivating embellishments and detailing," he said.
10 Behno
Founded by Shivam Punjya, the brand focuses on ethical garmenting in India. The ideology includes raising awareness to the "made in India" label, implementing fair wages to garment workers, and being eco-conscious.

11 Maggie Marilyn
A New Zealand-based fashion designer, Maggie Marilyn launched her brand in September 2016 with a focus on tailoring, youthful charm, and modern luxury. The collection features delicate utilitarian pieces women from around the world can work into their wardrobes.

12 LPA
Pia Arrobio, formerly of Reformation, began her own line in 2016 with ready-to-wear pieces favored by celebs like Emily Ratajkowski. Her first collection is full of feminine, laid-back items perfect for the throw-on-and-go type. Fittingly, her first lookbook emphasized a natural, unretouched look for the models.

13 Ji Oh
Ji Oh is an international fashion designer born in South Korea. She launched her namesake brand in 2014 and was a 2016 nominee for the CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund. Speaking about her collection, the designer said, "I'm trying to free my women by making the clothes androgynous, versatile and comfortable so I create no boundaries but still keep it stylish, and that's what's chic to me."

14 Morgan Lane
Morgan Curtis (daughter of designer Jill Stuart) merged her passions for illustration and lingerie into the brand Morgan Lane in 2014. The brand's "mascot" of sorts is an illustration of the girl Lanie, whom Morgan created and incorporates into the packaging and embroideries of the lingerie pieces.
