. . . Because that vibrant orchid shade is most definitely fuchsia! Reese Witherspoon's style typically falls somewhere between preppy and girlie, and the sweater and jeans combo she picked for a recent Beverly Hills outing was no different. She avoided demure petal pink, instead picking a color that mixed a drop of purple with the lighter hue for something more shocking to the eye.
In order to let her sweater stand out, she kept the rest of the look pretty simple, wearing cropped Koral ankle jeans and pointed flats. She used her accessories for a bit of extra fun, carrying a perforated version of Reed Krakoff's hit bag and topping everything off with a jaunty hat. And while her wayfarers and thick gold cuff were both the epitome of timeless pieces, it was how she styled the latter that really caught our eye. Instead of letting it bunch the sleeve of her sweater (or hide it completely underneath!), she slipped it on over the garment, letting the metal really pop against the bright shade of her top.
