The year may be nearly over, but Serena Williams clearly isn't done winning titles and racking up the achievements just yet. The Sports Illustrated "Sportsperson of the Year" honoree stepped out at last night's ceremony in just about the sexiest black gown we've ever seen. Featuring a sheer, bustier-like bodice that extended into a lace slip — and revealed Serena's booty shorts — the design was finished with an open-front skirt that clasped in the front and trailed behind her.
We may have seen Ms. Williams topless on this year's buzzy Pirelli calendar, but we've got to admit we prefer her in clothes. Serena posed alongside her sister Venus, who presented her with the "Sportsperson of the Year" award during the ceremony. Venus wore a lacy blue midi dress with a plunging neckline — a creation that came straight from Serena's debut fashion line.
Serena let her strappy bustier neckline do the talking, forgoing a necklace for the event.
She accessorized her look with a diamond-encrusted watch and chunky black ring.
Serena showed off a black sparkling bracelet and chunky silver ring on her other hand.
She completed her outfit with t-strap pointed toe shoes that glowed as she walked.
