Sophie Turner's red carpet dresses often err on the side of elegant, not fashion-forward. Even at the Game of Thrones season six premiere, Sophie played it sleek; so you'll forgive us if our jaws dropped when we caught the actress wearing Balmain at Monday's X-Men Apocalypse premiere.
Even alongside Jennifer Lawrence's head-turning gown, Sophie's corset and cutout gown put her in a league of her own. In fact, nearly everyone else on the red carpet looked understated standing near Sophie's dramatic look, complete with hip cutouts, beading, and fringed tiers.
