Google knows exactly what we're searching for, and while some might call that creepy, we call it awesome. Especially when its latest data report revealed the three fashion items people are searching for nonstop. So what pieces are trending so hard you can't escape them? Tulle skirts, emoji jogger pants, and midi skirts, in that order.
Read on for a more detailed look at the wares everyone will be slipping on this Spring, along with a few of our recommendations. Trust, when you walk into your favorite stores, these items will be all around you. Just like that Taylor Swift song no one can stop singing, you'll eventually grow to like them, if you're not already obsessed.
1 Tulle Skirts
Google reports that the search term, "tulle skirts," has grown 34 percent from January 2014 to January 2015. You're not just searching for a standard color palette either. You want these statement pieces in all colors of the rainbow. Our favorite way to wear them? 2 Emoji Sweatpants
Jogger pants have become so widespread that people are searching for the "best" sweats. They want to know which brands produce the coolest designs, which retailers offer the best deals, and unsurprisingly, which come plastered with their favorite emoji. (Thank you, smart phones.) Leave it to Sarah Jessica Parker herself to make a cute Lauren Moshi pair ($136) totally weekend ready.
3 Midi Skirts
Midi skirts are on the rise here in the US, but they were trending in the UK back in 2013. Google reports that people are searching the term "midi skirts" along with the phrases "how to wear" and "outfits." Not only that, people are specific about what type of midi skirts they're interested in, seeking pleated, pencil, A-line, high-waisted, skater, circle, and flared variations. Our advice? Go for a button-front style, just like this denim Zara stunner ($60).
