When your Summer days are numbered, you make the most of your last beach days, dining al fresco, and squeezing in your final vacation days, right? As devoted fashion fans, we make the most of August's arrival by shopping the sandals, breezy dresses, and cover-ups to live out those days in style, while mixing in a healthy dose of transitional pieces to welcome Fall's impending arrival (hey, if you can't beat em, join em, right?). In my mind, a jumpsuit is the most transitional piece you can add to your wardrobe. That makes August the best time to shop for one. Ever since I spotted Danielle Bernstein of We Wore What in the bright yellow Asos x Jackie number ($118), I had to have it. It’s not only the bold shade I’m attracted to; it’s the ‘70s-inspired silhouette and the functionality of such a throw-on-and-go design.

Like most things, I fell in love with Schutz's new cage sandals ($190) after seeing Olivia Palermo sporting hers. I love the way she mixes the sexy style with trousers and midiskirts — sold!

I’ve been crushing HARD on the bohemian looks I’m seeing spring up everywhere
this season, and on top of my list is this subtly ‘70s Reformation Westlake dress ($258). I love the loose, breezy fit — perfect for the transition from Summer to Fall.

Don’t ask me why, but I was never crazy about the Valentino rockstuds — whether it be in shoe or bag form — until I saw this iteration. There’s something so luxe-looking about the Garavani Glam Lock satchel ($2,445), from its milky white leather detail to the subtle patriotic color scheme that’s dark enough to fit into my Fall wardrobe — and every other season, for that matter.

Lately I’ve been stocking up on bralettes, and this Noe stretch-denim design ($195) can’t be overlooked. I love that it has a sporty appeal with the racerback silhouette, and it could also totally work for a night out paired with a high-waisted skirt and heels.

Knowing just how versatile Converse’s kicks are, I was overjoyed when the brand released the Chuck Taylor II. I’ve already added a bright white pair ($70) to my cart and will happily trade out my old — and extremely worn out — kicks for this new and improved model.

The sleek design feels more high fashion while the furry exterior will help my transition my look in to Fall.

After a recent shopping trip with a stylist, I found myself obsessing over my new button-front skirt — so much so, that I can’t stop wearing it! I’m thinking I’ll pick up another option from Topshop ($58), this time in cord rather than denim, so I can switch it up a bit as I channel the current ‘70s trend.
