What's Black, White, and Red Carpet Ready? Victoria Beckham Fall 2014!

Did Victoria Beckham's famous friends ask her to include gowns again in her Fall 2014 collection, because they are made for gliding down a red carpet. Beckham mentioned a focus on "three dimensionality in every look" in her show notes, and that manifested in beautiful pleats, feathers, organza ruffles, and gold chains adorning long and lean silhouettes. Open-back, elongated vests were a perfectly tailored counterpoint to stovepipe pants cut long over Manolo Blahnik pumps. While the collection was almost completely black and ivory, there was a stellar pop flower print rendered across a long pleated midi skirt. And did we mention evening? We can picture Beckham looking amazing in the backless sweater held across the shoulder blades with a chain over a shimmering pencil skirt.
