Hey Summer, we've been waiting for you. We've partnered with
Starbucks® to show you all the stylish ways we're paying homage to the season ahead.
Orange you excited it's finally Summer? Us, too. As true fashion girls, we're celebrating the best way we know how: by wearing all the color. While there are plenty of eye-catching ways to work fun, fruity shades into your look, this season, we're excited to try things a little differently. From sporting a shock of blueberry eyeliner to incorporating a surprising dragonfruit accessory, here are all the refreshing ways we plan on boosting our outfits — and our mood — all Summer long.
Wear One Bold Color From Head to Toe
We'll always love a pop of color here or there, but this season, we're going ALL in by sporting one juicy hue from top to bottom. Not only will it make a bold statement, but the monochromatic effect also happens to be right on trend. A few colors we love for this approach are watermelon pink and cherry red, but far and away, our favorite is citrus yellow — it's playful and cheerful without being too over the top. A quick and easy outfit combination is to match a yellow dress with two other yellow accessories, like a hat and sunglasses or earrings and a bag.

Bring in Unexpected Elements

Traditional accessories are an obvious way to incorporate color into your look, but why not think outside the box — or rather, closet? Things like the tropical
Mango Dragonfruit Starbucks Refreshers® Iced Beverage you're sipping on (which features a refreshing combination of mango and dragonfruit) can bring vibrancy to lift your outfit — and your mood. And, if you're photographing an outfit photo for social media, consider taking advantage of your surroundings. A yellow taxi cab, lush plant, or patterned lounge chair can complement the colors of your outfit nicely.

Colorblock Your Makeup
Going a step beyond a simple swipe of fruity lipstick or eye shadow, we love the idea of playing up two separate colors in our beauty look. Two-tone lips are striking (we're partial to orange and hot pink), but if you're looking for something a little more subtle, you could try colorblocking your nails or lining your top and bottom lids with different colored eyeliner (like pink and blue).

Play With Hair Color
Experimenting with colorful makeup is one thing . . . but experimenting with colorful hair is the ultimate color commitment. Dive head first, literally, into the look with temporary dye or hair spray. It's minimal effort for maximum visual payoff. We particularly love pastel pink, lavender, or blue. Go big or go home!
