Rue's Euphoria Hoodie Is Being Auctioned For Over $3,000 — and the Money Goes to NY Hospitals
Ever wonder what happened to Rue's iconic purple hoodie from Euphoria? How about the 33-pound May Queen flower gown from Midsommar? Well, wonder no more, because A24 is pulling the pieces from storage for a good cause.
On April 22, the movie studio began putting popular props and costumes from its 2019 films and TV shows up for auction. The proceeds will go to several different charities benefitting novel coronavirus (COVID-19) relief, including Queens Community House, the FDNY Foundation, Food Bank For New York City, and NYC Health and Hospitals. Since these pieces are one-of-a-kind, the bidding has already risen far beyond what my bank account can stomach, but I'm excited for someone else to own these fashion pieces — appreciate each of the 10,000 silk flowers sewn to the Florence Pugh's Midsommar gown. Ahead, I've rounded up the three fashion items I'm most excited to see up for auction. Let the bids begin!
Rue's Hoodie in Euphoria
This sweatshirt is dubbed as "Rue's favorite hoodie" throughout Euphoria, so you know it holds extraspecial significance. It was given to Rue by her late father and shows signs of being well-loved and well-worn.
The May Queen Dress in Midsommar
The May Queen dress plays a pretty unforgettable role in Midsommar's finale, and yes, you can place a bid for the matching flower crown.
The Midsommar May Queen Dress Bidding Will Open on April 27
Proceeds from the Midsommar May Queen dress will go to the FDNY foundation.
Dinah's Uncut Gems Dress
Dinah's Bat Mitzvah dress still fits! The sparkly pink outfit is a flashback to the '80s, but you know what, I'm not even a little mad.
Dinah's Uncut Gems Dress Will Open For Bidding on May 4
Proceeds from Dinah's Uncut Gems dress will benefit Queens Community House.
