Anne Hathaway's Alaïa Bodysuit, Skirt at Berlinale Festival

Anne Hathaway's Plunging Black Bodysuit Comes With Its Own Hood

Anne Hathaway's Alaïa Bodysuit, Skirt at Berlinale Festival

Anne Hathaway, though often a New York Fashion Week staple, is on a stylish press tour for her new film, "She Came To Me," debuting at the Berlinale International Film Festival in Berlin. Choosing to wear all black for the occasion, she pulled a top and skirt set right off the Alaïa Spring 2023 runway.

Hathaway's black deep V-neck bodysuit is actually crafted to look like a button-down shirt complete with a subtle hood. It's actually the very same one that Ciara just showed off in white on Instagram this week. And Hathaway's skirt, with a leather upper, boasts an up-to-there slit to mirror the plunging neckline of her top. Wearing sheer black tights, she slipped her feet into strappy black heeled sandals.

Anne Hathaway often channels the evolved version of her "The Devil Wears Prada" character, constantly willing to try new trends, slip into bold looks, and go the extra mile when it comes to her fashion choices. And this latest Alaïa look is no exception. Just last month, she appeared in a sequin leopard-print mini dress from Valentino during their show in Paris, complete with matching tights, shoes, and a bag. And just before that, she wore a puffer coat as a mini dress, whose seams were meant to look like a boned corset top.

So this week, in Berlin, it comes as no surprise that she opted for not just any cotton poplin top but, instead, one that has a dramatic neckline and hooded silhouette. Though Hathaway has knocked it out of the park with her all-black look that's anything but boring, here's hoping she continues the fashion tour, making at least a few appearances at the international Fashion Weeks that follow New York. London, Milan, and Paris are still to come.
