Magda Butrym is bringing her signature rose motif to H&M with a collaboration of ready-to-wear, accessories, and jewelry, currently on sale at HM.com and in select stores. It features some of the key wardrobe staples H&M is known for — bomber jackets, mini dresses, fitted tops, one-pieces — all reimagined with Butrym's whimsical, romantic flair. Think a cocktail dress covered in roses to mimic a bouquet, clear sandals with floral heels, and a rose-print turtleneck-and-leggings set.
As Magda Butrym is celebrating its 10-year anniversary this year, the H&M collab includes archival pieces which fans of the luxury brand will recognize. The beloved halter top, for example, is here with its iconic ruching and rose emblems featured on the bodice. "Each piece brings its own sense of Slavic romance, while paying homage to the history of our brand," the designer said in a press release. "I really see this collection as a chance to invite people into our world – and to celebrate femininity, and the flower."
In the past, H&M collaborations have included such iconic brands as Mugler, Rabanne, and Brock Collection. Notably, this partnership marks the first time the retail behemoth has collaborated with a Polish designer. And while most of the products are sold out, you can check your local H&M for further shopping. Ahead, read our editors' honest thoughts about the new collection — and keep scrolling to shop our favorite pieces from the Magda Butrym x H&M collab.
Magda Butrym x H&M Burgundy Trench, Rose Dress, and Rose Heels Review
Outfit: Magda Butrym x H&M Tie-Belt Leather Coat ($549). Magda Butrym x H&M Rose-Appliquéd Gathered Dress ($269). Magda Butrym x H&M Transparent-Strap Mules With Rose Appliqué ($219).
"I'm a huge fan of Magda Butrym and I'm so glad the H&M collab is true to the brand ethos. From the rose motif on the dress and mules to the quality of the trench coat, it all felt quintessentially Magda. I was struck by how comfortable the dress was with its ruching and the mesh corset felt lightweight breathable. The trench coat is so well-constructed and adds a sophisticated touch to my Spring looks, whether I was pairing it with the matching gathered dress or a white tank top and jeans. My only note would be to size down if you prefer a fitted look as the trench is quite oversize.
I fell in love with the heels at first sight — and they didn't disappoint IRL. The rose appliqué adds such a unique and special touch that makes the shoes an instant conversation starter. PVC is an acquired taste for some, but they felt fine on my feet even after standing for a long period. I can't wait to style them with everything this summer: they obviously lend themselves to dressy outfits but they'll be a nice juxtaposition with denim, too." — Jessica Andrews, senior content director, Shopping

Magda Butrym x H&M White Lace Dress, Scarf, and Rose Mules Review
Outfit: Magda Butrym x H&M Floral Appliquéd Hourglass Lace Dress ($219). Magda Butrym x H&M Lace Triangle Scarf With Floral Appliqué ($45). Magda Butrym x H&M Transparent-Strap Mules With Rose Appliqué ($219)
"I look forward to H&M's collaborations because the designer brand DNA consistently shines through, and this collection with Magda Butrym is no different. The quality of the dress and triangle scarf in particular can be felt just by the weight alone, and the texture of the appliqué work is intricate and highly detailed. While the straps on the dress are thin, they're sturdy, and the boning on the bodice and throughout the skirt provides structure without affecting comfort.
Of course, the special part of this look is the story of the rose, which ends full stop with the shoes. I love this combination because the pink flower on the heel adds an undeniable pop, but the pink shade is soft and romantic. I'm not always a fan of PVC and will admit that the shape of the strap across the top of the shoe didn't hold my foot in place as securely as I would have liked, but the fashion statement alone was enough to keep me standing." — Sarah Wasilak, associate director, Shopping

Magda Butrym x H&M Black Blazer and Rose Heels Review
Outfit: Magda Butrym x H&M Oversized Wool Blazer ($219) Magda Butrym x H&M Transparent-Strap Mules With Rose Appliqué ($219)
"As someone who runs her own clothing brand and is a shopping editor, I live for a good designer collab — and let me tell you, this one nailed it. Every piece screams Magda Butrym in the best way possible. I own more oversize blazers than I care to admit, and this one quickly became a top-tier fave. It's not too thick, not too thin – making it perfect for the confusing spring weather. Whether you're going full power suit or just throwing it on over a bodysuit and some tights, it just works.
The blazer is wool, so if you've got sensitive skin like me, you might feel a bit of itchiness around the neck. Also, if you're petite (I'm 5'2"), definitely consider sizing down. The fit runs large, and while I love a bit of drama, I was slightly swimming in this blazer. The padded shoulders add some serious structure, so sizing down will help keep it chic and not too boxy. That said, the length? Chef's kiss. It hits that sweet spot — not too long, not too short.
And can we talk about the shoes? I'm obsessed. The pop of color from the flower adds such a fun twist and softens the whole vibe to an otherwise all-black look. Walking-wise . . . let's just say they're more 'stand and be admired' than 'run through NYC streets to catch a cab,' as the single PVC strap doesn't exactly lock in your foot. But hey, beauty is pain — and these babies are worth it." — Balim Tezel, updates editor, Shopping

Magda Butrym x H&M Rose Print Dress, Scrunchie, and Rose Mules Review
Outfit: Magda Butrym x H&M Rose-Appliquéd Mock Turtleneck Dress ($90). Magda Butrym x H&M Transparent-Strap Mules With Rose Appliqué ($219). Magda Butrym x H&M Printed Scrunchie ($25).
"I've always admired Magda Butrym's offerings while casually browsing Net-a-Porter and it was exciting to see how the brand's dainty signature would fuse with H&M's accessibility. Admittedly, I never thought I would wear floral print again (I proudly left it in my high school years), but this black-and-red rose dress has me leaning towards the print again.
I loved how the gathered rose detailing hugged my hips and felt breathable enough to stay in all day, despite it having a slight turtleneck. And the matching scrunchie adds a subtle pop to any look. My only note with the dress is that it might be best to size up because it tends to gape in the back the more curves you have.
I also loved how surprisingly comfortable the heels were on my feet. PVC heels can sometimes be a hit or miss, but these felt fine on my feet while walking around. And the rose appliqué is just too chic to resist. It's definitely a piece I'll be keeping around for summer weddings and vacations." — Naomi Parris, assistant editor, Shopping
