PS: Is there a difference between creating looks for a music video, as you did with Beyonce's "Yoncé," and creating them for a tour?

LA: There is definitely a difference. When it comes to tour, the pieces mainly need to have incredible stage presence — and also accommodate movement for all the dance routines and quick changes backstage. As a result, we usually have to amp the amount of embellishment while keeping in mind functionality. For the recent tour, we added some extra gold zippers on the pieces.
