Start Embracing the Monochrome Look, Per Lacoste Fall 2014
The sporty DNA of Lacoste is hard to keep down, as evidenced by the bomber-cum-blouse that opened the show. Front vertical zips and a crew neck spoke of the athletic staple, but these were silky and tucked into skirts (read: ready for a long day at the office). There were prints of vertical planes, straight from a graphic designer's work station, but the boldest look was the mighty monochrome, single-color looks that extended from top to bottom, beanie to backpack.
