Why We Can't Wait to Shop Melissa McCarthy's Clothing Line

If anyone can get away with quoting that famous line from Pretty Woman —"Big mistake. Big. Huge." — in real life, that person is Melissa McCarthy. Years after designers declined to dress her for the Oscars, the actress has not only proven to be a megastar with staying power, but also quite the red carpet fashion queen. Between her ruffled maxis, leather looks, and signature bit of sparkle, we're always wowed when she steps out at a premiere or awards show — which is exactly why we can't wait to shop her clothing line, Melissa McCarthy Seven7, which launches in August.

Luckily, we won't have to wait long to see what Melissa's got in store for us: she's already rocked one of her creations at the New York premiere of her movie Spy, and it's every bit as gorgeous as we imagined. Scroll through to see the dress, as well as her previous fashion hits, and see why we don't doubt she'll easily make the transition from actress to designer.
