The Moving Reason This Woman Wasn't Allowed to Return Her Coat

All too often, Facebook is a place where negative posts garner attention, but last week a woman shared a truly moving story about a coat — and the response is overwhelming. Kelly Kinkel posted a story to her Facebook page about trying to return a coat to online retailer Zulily, with a result that no one expected.

After inquiring about sending back her coat, Kelly noted that Patrick, the customer service representative assisting her, had a surprising response. "Please don't send it back," he said. "If you know someone who needs a Winter coat or if you would like to donate it to a charity, that would make us very happy."

Kelly was so moved by the interaction that she was brought to tears. "I thought Zulily was pretty incredible before, but after today, I'm a customer for LIFE," she wrote. "The world needs more LOVE like that." Since Kelly originally shared her story on Jan. 4, the post has been shared over 25,000 times and has garnered over 25,000 "likes" as well; now that's some serious social power.
