Mansur Gavriel Delivers Another Lineup of Cult Favorites For Fall '16

Once again the fashion crowd was buzzing about the brand that created everyone's favorite bucket bag. Mansur Gavriel welcomed guests out of the snow and into SoHo's inviting Swiss Institute, where the walls were lined in candy-colored bags and shoes for Fall '16. Models milled about the space as if right at home, lounging on chairs, chatting at the kitchen table, and serving their friends sweets, while clutching the collection's bags and showing off the brand-new shoes. It was a respite from the nonstop blur of New York Fashion Week we all needed, complete with waiters doling out glasses of Champagne.

The other welcome treat came in the form of five new shoe styles, including new materials in calf, patent, and shearling, as well as two new bag silhouettes. The bodies are more ladylike than the bucket the label's best known for, but we have a sneaking suspicion that the smart, bright totes and clutches here are about to become cult classics, too.
