Kate Middleton's First Tour Look Combines 4 Big Pieces of British Style

Kate Middleton and Prince William's first day of their royal tour of India and Bhutan means many engagements and, as a result, a handful of outfits. The very first item on their Sunday agenda was a stop at the Taj Palace Hotel in Mumbai, where they placed a wreath at a memorial honoring and remembering victims of the 2008 terror attacks. Prince William and the duchess also spoke with staff members at the hotel who helped and protected guests during the tragedy.

For the occasion, Kate wore one of her favorite designers, Alexander McQueen. The paisley-print dress with a peplum detail was certainly the statement piece of her outfit. She completed the look with L.K. Bennett heels, a clutch from Russell & Bromley, and Cassandra Goad's Temple of Heaven earrings. Between the four brands, it was a very British note on which to begin her latest tour.
