Kate Middleton Got Her Katniss Everdeen On While Wearing a Freakin' Cape

We've called Kate Middleton a lot of things — duchess, princess, fashion icon, etc. — but girl on fire? That's not really one of them. But stopping in Bhutan during the royals' tour of India, the brunette beauty totally got her Katniss on — and she did it while wearing a caped top, too.

During an archery event in Thimphu, Kate wore an outfit inspired by the Buddhist kingdom's traditional dress, including a purple and blue patterned skirt made by Kelzang Wangmo. But it was her Paul & Joe top that really stole the spotlight: with flowy cape sleeves, embroidered embellishments, and a waist-cinching belt, it was chic and on trend. We could easily picture it on the red carpet or paired with jeans for Spring. Fingers crossed she brings that baby back home with her, repurposing it for another time. She wore earrings by a favorite jewelry designer, Kiki McDonough.
