Kate Middleton Just Showed Us a Genius Way to Solve This Common Fashion Dilemma

As fashion lovers, there's one rule we know to be true: an all-black outfit is impossibly chic, transcending time and seasons and solving a variety of fashion dilemmas. The duchess is never one to shy away from something vibrant, and for The Patron's Lunch celebrating the queen's 90th birthday, she once again showed us the proper way to pull off color, wearing a blue and peach shift by Roksanda. The simple colorblock design paired with a modest shape made just enough of a statement without being over the top — aka the happy, stylish medium that anyone, even those "allergic to color," can pull off. It also helped that Kate kept her shoes and accessories neutral, balancing out the look.
