Considering Cate Blanchett often shows up to award shows in Cinderella-like gowns and floral-embellished numbers, we naively expected more of the same for this year's Tony Awards. But after seeing her on the red carpet, decked out in an edgy, leather-sleeved Louis Vuitton look, we realized we couldn't have been more wrong. This was not the Disney-inspired outfit Cate typically opts for at these events — and that's exactly why it caught our eye.
