We Want to Pack Up Michael Kors's Spring '17 Collection and Take It on Vacation

Not every fashion event leaves you feeling like you've just witnessed pure magic, but Michael Kors's Spring '17 show had us grinning ear to ear. From the get-go, we knew it would be something special: a full band could be seen next to the runway, and Rufus Wainwright, a talented singer and composer, had been tapped to perform. Once those designs made their way down the runway — sigh — we practically melted. Breezy, colorful clothes combined with upbeat tunes made us feel as if we were on vacation, if only for a few short moments.

It was easy to picture ourselves somewhere warm and by the ocean, rocking every printed wrap dress, belted swimsuit — which came complete with a matching bag! — and chunky, oversize sweater (perfect for cooler nights). And while some looks, such as a handful of structured suits, pencil skirts, and trench coats, are likely better suited for the office, they still seemed more comfy than binding — a definite plus when you're working all day.

Kendall Jenner and Bella Hadid also made an appearance during the show, but even an It girl presence couldn't distract us from daydreaming about these pieces making their way to our closet. Luckily a few items are "buy now," so check out the collection in full, then head over to MichaelKors.com to snag some stuff, STAT.
