We talk a lot about the art of power dressing, looking to stylish stars like Amal Clooney and Kate Middleton for inspiration. If there's one common denominator we've noticed in their outfits, it's the color red. Serious ladies almost always gravitate toward this hue for special occasions or when they mean business. So when the wearer walks into the room, you can bet they will command everyone's attention.

Just look at Michelle Obama's 2013 Inaugural gown, or Hillary Clinton's fiery-red suit on debate night. The ladies have clearly figured out the right way to master this color for events, and they are not alone.
