Zac Posen debuted his Fall 2017 collection as a presentation in the SoHo loft where he grew up. It's perfect timing for the designer to pay homage to his roots, as this season marks the brand's 15th anniversary. So, you can imagine the lineup is pretty special. In fact, Zac exhibited his clothes alongside videos of his friends supermodels Jourdan Dunn, Lindsey Wixson, and Hilary Rhoda dancing in the most standout dresses, all shot by Bunny Lake. (The same set of ladies make up the lookbook.)

While the pieces exude modern elegance — chiffon blouses are relaxed and midis and suit separates are movable — Zac took inspiration from the 1940s, proving that certain elements stand the test of time. Zac also added a modern touch in the form of patent black jacquard. You can't miss the shiny material, even up against beaded gowns and one off-the-shoulder floral midi we could see on actress Katie Holmes, who Posen styles on many occasions.

Overall, Zac's attention to sculpting the body with his designs has remained steadfast. For 15 years, he's been offering women clothes that flatter and turn heads, both for their shape and their quality stitching and voluminous skirts or trains. Now that deserves a little celebration.
