Kate Middleton Pulls Out an Old Favorite For the Queen's Garden Party

We're starting to think the trick to looking like a royal, or just Kate Middleton, is to invest in a coat dress. The Duchess of Cambridge owns quite a few and recycled her Christopher Kane number for a garden party at Buckingham Palace. Kate's worn the icy blue outfit before, but she updated it with little tweaks. She matched her Lock & Co hat to her coat dress (somehow the colors coordinated perfectly) and wore a pair of Kiki McDonough blue topaz earrings that gleamed in the light.

Kate's outfit was not only Spring friendly, but also captured the attention of everyone at the party. She walked around to chat with guests and paid no mind to the grassy grounds as she stood tall in her Gianvito Rossi suede pumps. Read on to see Kate's coat dress from all angles — it's royally good.
