Say What You Want, but MadMax's Skater-Girl Style Is the Best Part of Stranger Things

We first meet Maxine in the science classroom at Hawkins Middle School when Mr. Clarke introduces her to the class. Right off the bat, she shows off her affinity for stripes, sporting an Adidas-esque jacket over a white t-shirt with multicolored stripes, blue jeans, and sneakers.

Max sports this same red jacket later on in the season, except the second time, she pairs it with a tee that has a distinct blue neckline.

In the second episode of the season, Max wears another warmup-style jacket, except this one's black with a prominent red stripe on the sleeves. She pairs it with a light-yellow t-shirt underneath.

MadMax wears what appears to be the same slightly baggy jeans all season. For this particular day at school, she opts for a cool pair of high-top Vans kicks, which may or may not have just been added to our Christmas wish list.

Next up, Max takes a break from her usual zippered jacket and goes for a light-yellow hooded sweatshirt instead. During her scene in the school gymnasium with Mike, we catch a glimpse at the back of her hoodie, which appears to have a huge graphic on it, though it's hard to make out exactly what the illustration is as she skateboards around Mike.

Max wears her yellow hoodie over a light-blue shirt with a thick neckline. On bottom, she wears her usual blue jeans and goes for a pair of maroon high-top sneakers.

Later on in season two, we see Max wearing a rainbow-y striped tee under a gray jacket when Lucas corners her at the arcade. Naturally, she's sporting plain, roomy jeans again — and is looking as skeptical as ever while Lucas tells her the truth about, well, everything.

Though Max's shirt has many colors in it, her gray jacket dials things down a bit and restores that laid-back California middle-schooler vibe.

In a series of major scenes, Max wears yet another zip-up jacket that gives us all the Adidas vibes — except instead of those three signature stripes on the sleeves, her version has just two. She zips up this one over a yellow and white striped shirt.

In a quick moment when Max snatches an unconscious Billy's car keys from his pocket, we catch a glimpse at her dope kicks: a pair of two-toned Vans sneakers in black and red. Though they don't exactly match with her otherwise green and yellow ensemble, she still rocks them like the car-stealing badass she is.

MadMax dresses to the nines for the Hawkins Middle School Snow Ball, wearing a checked sweater with multicolored lines. Her top also has small colorblock aspects, such as the yellow detailing around her wrists and the magenta band around her waist.

So long, baggy mom jeans! Max trades in the denim for a cool pair of pink pants, which appear to be corduroy, from what we can tell. All we can say is: NEED these!
