Ellen DeGeneres turned 60 on Jan. 26, and among the handful of stars who helped her ring in the celebration was the one and only Michelle Obama. The former first lady appeared on Ellen's daytime talk show, joining Jennifer Aniston, who was also there for the mini get-together. While Jennifer chose a black button-down and skinnies combination, Michelle stood out in an ivory knit top from Tom Ford and Roland Mouret black trousers ($819, originally $1,365).

The wide-leg pants had a business professional feel, no doubt a dress code Michelle's been familiar with since her White House days, and they featured a small peplum detail on the left leg. It looks like Michelle's back from vacation, and has swapped her breezy pieces for more tailored ones for all public appearances. Read on to see photos from the cute reunion and then shop similar flared trousers, below.
