Macy's Is Launching a Hijab-Friendly, Modest Clothing Line That's Really Something to Celebrate

Retail giant Macy's announced a partnership with Islamic fashion brand, Verona Collection, to release a modest, hijab-friendly clothing line. After feeling frustrated with the lack of fashionable, yet demure clothing, Lisa Vogl founded the Verona Collection in 2015. Then, last year, while participating in The Workshop at Macy's, a women-owned business development program, Lisa shared her vision to create a collection to help a community of women looking for modest fashion.

Lisa and Macy's then worked together to bring a curated selection of modest and fashionable ready-to-wear items to the Macy's customer. "Verona Collection is more than a clothing brand. It's a platform for a community of women to express their personal identity and embrace fashion that makes them feel confident on the inside and outside," said Lisa Vogl, founder of Verona Collection in a press release.

The stylish collection drops on Feb. 15 on Macys.com and features everything from demure dresses and separates to hand-dyed hijabs in a variety of colors and fabrics. The line is super affordable too, with prices ranging from $13 to $85. The Verona Collection might not be available to shop just yet, but you can get a sneak peak at what's in store, ahead.
