Kate Middleton's style never misses a beat, even after just giving birth. The Duchess of Cambridge welcomed a baby boy on April 23 and hours later made her postbaby appearance in front of the hospital. She wore a red Jenny Packham three-quarter-sleeved dress with a lace peter pan collar and looked as sweet as ever. In true royal fashion, Kate wore her go-to Gianvito Rossi suede pumps and, reportedly, wore pearl earrings that possibly belonged to Queen Elizabeth.

If you love the red dress, as we do, you might find the next part exciting, too. Eagle-eyed fans were quick to notice that the color held a special significance. The hue of Kate's outfit bore an uncanny resemblance to Princess Diana's own red dress when she left the hospital with a then-baby Prince Harry in 1984. Like Princess Diana, we're not completely surprised Kate looked so put together as she presented her baby to the public. She's completely mastered maternity style by now and has already made three truly unforgettable exits from the hospital. Read on to see her look, then shop similar red dresses.
