When Meghan Markle announced her engagement to Prince Harry in November 2017, she stepped out for a photocall alongside her then fiancé in the most gorgeous outfit. For the occasion, she wore a sleek, white trench coat from Line the Label over a Parosh green dress and finished her look with a pair of Aquazzura lace-up pumps (which are now sold out in the neutral color). In fact, her sophisticated ensemble was so perfect, Princess Eugenie pretty much just re-created it.

On July 18, Eugenie took a page out of Meghan's stylish book by wearing a forest green design with a jewel neckline, the same Aquazzura Matilde heels, and a M2Malletier bag ($982, originally $1,310). Seeing as the Duchess of Sussex also wore the brand on her wedding night — with the soles painted blue — we can't help but wonder: will Eugenie do the same? Only time will tell. In the meantime, read on to see how both Meghan and Eugenie wore the lace-up shoes, then shop similar heels for yourself.
