Calvin Klein Wants Us All to Wear Wetsuits Next Summer, and We're Into It

What do you get when you mix Jaws, neoprene, and graduation gear? Calvin Klein's Spring 2019 collection, of course! We're not even exaggerating: with a digital ocean backdrop behind them, models walked down the runway in New York wearing wetsuits (some of which were patterned and folded down at the front), harnesses, frayed "bitten" skirts, and Jaws graphic tees. And the fun didn't stop there. The beginning-of-Summer vibe was complemented by black graduation caps and gown-like jackets, while goggle-inspired sunglasses were carried alongside bags with chain-link straps.

Of course, the inspiration behind it all is clear. Calvin Klein's creative director, Raf Simons, is a big fan of the film, and he even thanked Universal Pictures in his show notes. Get a good look at how this classic movie got the fashion treatment . . . and maybe start digging for your graduation cap, too.
