When she arrived at the palace to receive her medal from Prince William on Wednesday, the actress and campaigner made a statement in a pantsuit and sneakers, finished off with a prominently placed badge from the Fawcett Society, which champions gender equality, women's rights, and equal pay. The sporty footwear choice should come as no surprise, as heels have always been a bugbear for Emma: she famously took off her Louboutins and threw them away at the Golden Globes in 2014, and she wore flats to the SAG Awards a few weeks later.
